Meaning, if something comes over the radio, the music/phone call, goes on pause. The only benefit of the aviation headsets is that they have comm priority. I see some of the adapters, like nflight, come with aux input, so you can listen to music. But, I wouldn't be necessarily tossing it around, carrying it around in its case. Yes, the headset would be more "flimsy" as they aren't built like aviation headsets which for the most part are more robust and on the higher end models made with metal vs plastic.
